Our Story

Built from experience. Driven by purpose.

R.U.N. Our Space was born from a simple question: what happens to women after the crisis ends?

We're not a crisis service. We're what comes after — the community, the connection, and the ongoing support that so many women are left without once immediate help ends. Everything we do is peer-led, women-only, and rooted in lived experience.

The support cliff nobody talks about

There's a moment many women know. The crisis has passed, the case is closed, and you're told you're doing well enough to manage on your own. But "no longer in immediate danger" doesn't mean you're okay. It just means the help stops.

That's the gap Javina Greene found herself in. She wasn't in crisis anymore, but she still needed somewhere to belong. The programmes had run their course, the case was closed, yet she still needed a place to be around other women, to find joy, to get advice on where her life could go next. That space didn't exist. If you weren't in high-level crisis, there was nowhere to turn for the ongoing emotional support and personal growth that are just as vital to healing.

What she wanted was simple. Somewhere women could just be together. Talk about whatever they wanted. Have fun. Heal without it feeling clinical. That shouldn't be too much to ask.

    So she built it.

"If I am feeling this way, others must be too."

R.U.N. Our Space was created to be that missing link, a vibrant community hub built by women, for women, where no one has to re-refer just to get the human connection and guidance they deserve.

"R.U.N. Our Space is a place where you can become yourself again."
